While growing up, we always had pets in the family. They ranged from dogs & cats to mice, fish & even rabbits. My family has always been full of avid animal lovers. Well, nothing has changed! As I grow older, my love for dogs grows with me. The amount of compassion I have for animals is un-godly. I want to share with you a story of my boy, Oscar. I adopted Oscar from the local shelter in April of 2005. The day I went to the shelter to look at the available pups, I saw Oscar. My heart melted! To this day I say that he chose me. It was an instant connection between us and, we bonded before I even left the building that day. A few days later I was able to go pick him up and take him home....to OUR home. He was a mischievous little rascal! He certainly knew how to push my buttons but, he also knew how to love, be loyal and, what a friend he was! The best ever. We went through some very trying times together as well as several road trips to different places. Oscar never left my side. Sure, I'll admit, he drove me insane from time to time but, i'm sure he felt the same about me. One of his favorite past times was trying to bring opossums into the house! I don't think so, sir! Oscar and I had 9 crazy years together but, to be selfish, it wasn't long enough. I lost my best boy on Thanksgiving day in 2014. He had CHF (congestive heart failure). I was with Oscar when he passed. My heart shattered......to this day, it still aches from the pain of losing my best friend. He is on my mind constantly. One thing I regret is the fact that I never had time to reward him with homemade treats. Sure, I bought treats for him but, that just wasn't the same as taking the time to bake them especially for him. I worked too much. My heart knows that he was happy just being around me. About 6 months after I lost Osc, I got the best birthday present ever! Otis Eugene! Shortly after Otis came to live with us, I decided I wanted to reward him for being such a sweet boy......that's right.....I decided to start baking him his very own homemade dog treats! At that point, I had plenty of time to do so. In July of 2015, our little Boden Wallace was adopted from the same shelter that Osc was adopted from. He too started getting mommy's homemade treats. The boys loved them! That's when this dog mom decided to share the best dog treats ever and, start a dog treat barkery! We are family owned and I do receive a tremendous amount of help from my husband, Drew and daughter, Kendallynn. We believe that every doggy deserves treats, especially if they are barked with love! I have done extensive research on healthy ingredients for dogs to make sure they get only the BEST. Our treats have been Veterinarian approved.  All ingredients that are used in our treats are said to have a positive affect on your pups health and well being.
